Sharon is well versed in trial law, having worked in the industry for 33 years for some of the upper echelon attorneys in the industry. Her second job was working for Haynes & Fullenweider. Donn C. Fullenweider is a family law attorney in Houston. The now deceased Richard "Racehorse" Haynes was a pioneer in criminal law. Several books and movies have depicted some of his cases.
For the last nine years, Sharon, through Black Label Adjusting and Lady Justice Consulting Group, has worked as a Texas Public Insurance Adjuster. In addition to her Public Insurance Adjuster license, she holds a license as a Texas Insurance Adjuster and holds the sought-after certification of Senior Claim Law Associate. She is passionate about representing her clients in the world of insurance.
Sharon has always been known to have an opinion. She is always searching for ways to help and educate people. She calls this process "enlightening those who need to hear her opinion." Sharon's knowledge of law and insurance sets her apart from all other insurance and public adjusters, allowing her to pursue the rights of her clients.
Because of the easy marriage between insurance and the law, Sharon is able to help her clients through her risk management business. Guardian Risk Management is co-owned with her friend and attorney, Daniel L. Sanders. Props to Daniel and the band, Pale, for the podcast intro, That Sinking Feeling written and performed by Pale. James is a graduate of Texas A&M University - Kingsville where he finished his long-time baseball career. James is the oldest of Sharon's Black men. James is married to his lovely and sweet wife of six years, Krystine. He is a podcast fanatic and has an opinion about most subjects. The apple didn't fall far from the tree.
James began his insurance career as an estimator with his company, Black Diamond Estimates. His attention to detail and knowledge of construction has made him a very valuable source for Sharon's public adjusting company.
James started J Sterling Construction after a need arose for a reliable, professional contractor. He has built a 550 sq. ft. house by himself, built out a tiny house, built decks, a garage tall enough to park an RV, and remodeled an 1888 house in Leadville, CO. Has been roofing in the Greater Houston Area since 2017. Has helped several contractors start their own companies.
